Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Abelardo Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute. It was a brilliant solo performance by TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Tito Pizzuti when he shot the ball into the net to 1-2 in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 57th minute of play forced TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Abelardo Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Claudinho Aparecido quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Juan Manuel Olivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Abelardo Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute of play. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
