In the 10th match minute, Keyes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Gotfryd to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Keyes's Bartlomiej Pleban slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Keyes's Witalis Barna got a free kick in the 19th minute. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Wit Literski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Marcin Bojanowski made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. In the 29th minute Witalis Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Witalis Barna was slow to take the kick. During this time Keyes's players had a chance to rest. If Witalis Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Marcin Bojanowski's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 66th minute of play forced Keyes's goalkeeper Wit Literski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Wit Literski made a huge save. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Witalis Barna, made in the 80th minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Bienienda in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Emil Bienienda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Witalis Barna made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Keyes's Bernard Gotfryd got a free kick in the 90th minute. Wit Literski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Carvallo was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
