After having played for 42 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Miljeteig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Christian Miljeteig on his right side and into the goal. 47 minutes into the game it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Liknes made a kick off. Daustad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Agustín Saelices scored to the left of an out of position Christian Miljeteig, making the score, 0-4. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christian Miljeteig was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 74thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Daustad's Christian Miljeteig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Miljeteig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daustad's Christian Miljeteig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Daustad from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Miljeteig was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daustad's goalkeeper Christian Miljeteig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Christian Miljeteig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
