Gugu Almeida hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Abelardo Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abelardo Breckenfeld quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 41 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Manuel Olivera. After some careless play in the TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Breckenfeld. The TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Breckenfeld should have stopped the shot. In the 47th match minute, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Pedersson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Abelardo Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 66th minute. Abelardo Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Carioca in the 84th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Abelardo Breckenfeld successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Peker Ersed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
