With a little luck, REVOLTA's Tobiasz Kaznocha got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Tasis in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 37th play minute Lautaro Puig came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tobiasz Kaznocha. 2-1. 41 minutes into the game, Alexander Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REVOLTA the free kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kazimierz Januszewski was the one to do the kick off. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobiasz Kaznocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 78 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Tobiasz Kaznocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobiasz Kaznocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes REVOLTA got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Grunwalski. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobiasz Kaznocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Antoni Birkenhagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the REVOLTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. If Tomasz Kasprzak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. REVOLTA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Costa Rica had won, even though REVOLTA had held more of the ball.
