After 15 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Webb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Don Bray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rudolf Rus managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Globo Red's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Rus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caco Moura went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Globo Red's Dominik Webb. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when The Globo Red's Caco Moura fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 34 minutes into the match, Caco Moura notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Caco Moura showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Rus, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dominik Webb was slow to take the kick. During this time The Globo Red's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Adam Muddle managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 59 played minutes The Globo Red got a freekick which was hit by Caco Moura. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Don Bray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 62 minutes into the match, Caco Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caco Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to The Globo Red getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Uygur Demirer hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the game Dave Spacey made a throw-in which Caco Moura played forward. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Globo Red's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dominik Webb in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Uygur Demirer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Dominik Webb:s penalty. In the 80th minute, Dominik Webb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Moura in the 85th minute of play. When Will Budden came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the The Globo Red fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Will Budden couldn't finish the play. Don Bray was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 93 minute of play. The Globo Red's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
