Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ján Oblak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lander Alejo in the 6th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Lander Alejo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lander Alejo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Fabiszak in the 20th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Parque Arrau FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vasco Cuevas in the 21st minute. Parque Arrau FC's Vasco Cuevas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26th play minutes Lander Alejo shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Thiago Pliego and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Juan Alfonso Bastidas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Juan Alfonso Bastidas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Fabiszak in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Parque Arrau FC's Ján Oblak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Parque Arrau FC from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parque Arrau FC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vasco Cuevas took the corner. Vasco Cuevas made a great header on Parque Arrau FC's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 43rd minute Lander Alejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Parque Arrau FC got a freekick which was hit by Lander Alejo. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ján Oblak having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Juan Alfonso Bastidas might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Alfonso Bastidas ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Juan Alfonso Bastidas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parque Arrau FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Alfonso Bastidas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parque Arrau FC's Niceto Fajardo was substituted for Miquel Argomedo. Parque Arrau FC's Efraín Moyano was substituted for Grzegorz Fabiszak. 67 minutes into the game, Blanco Oxman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Thiago Pliego quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Carballar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ján Oblak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Alan Tamayo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Alan Tamayo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lander Alejo in the 78th minute. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parque Arrau FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ján Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Carballar in the 84th minute of play forced Parque Arrau FC's goalkeeper Ján Oblak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ján Oblak was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After having played for 89 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
