Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Don Bray however easily saved by the left post. Agustín Saelices came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Don Bray could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 80th minute.
