Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anyuna Parab having to interfere. Anyuna Parab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Subhash Paranjpe sent off a good shot on target. Anyuna Parab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Peru booed when PANUNDA F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rajendran Kalra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anyuna Parab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, PANUNDA F C's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Anyuna Parab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Swaraj Kahlon hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthony Alvarado hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalyanasundaram Solanki during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 56 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Kutilagesa Sahni came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the game Amahiyu Malhan made a throw-in which Heri Noor played forward. Heri Noor kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Milagros Fraga could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Anyuna Parab however easily saved by the left post. 73 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Kalyanasundaram Solanki came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to PANUNDA F C getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Amahiyu Malhan hit a great ball. PANUNDA F C's Ryszard Wydrych was substituted for Rajendran Kalra. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heri Noor, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amahiyu Malhan was slow to take the kick. During this time PANUNDA F C's players had a chance to rest. Antonio Tenorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Anyuna Parab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. PANUNDA F C were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
