The tension between the Peru and the Scrotum Kickers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Scrotum Kickers FC's zone, Antonio Tenorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Oskar Söderström came out of the goal and Antonio Tenorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ger Cordoba made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Per-Oskar Söderström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Scrotum Kickers FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
