The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Fragmenty Nietoperzy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Niewiadomski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montes in the 21st minute of play forced Fragmenty Nietoperzy's goalkeeper Czeslaw Tyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Avram Rizescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fragmenty Nietoperzy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avram Rizescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Avram Rizescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avram Rizescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Felix Montes fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 41st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avram Rizescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro had several of the Fragmenty Nietoperzy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Czeslaw Tyski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ksawery Traczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play forced Fragmenty Nietoperzy's goalkeeper Czeslaw Tyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Czeslaw Tyski made a huge save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Rizescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd minute, Avram Rizescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fragmenty Nietoperzy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Avram Rizescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
