Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Rus in the 2nd minute of play. When The Globo Red's Caco Moura in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Don Bray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Rudolf Rus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Moura came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caco Moura's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Dave Spacey got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Will Budden. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Moura in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of The Globo Red booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dave Spacey, made in the 31st minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Austin Child had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Caco Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Caco Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caco Moura struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Globo Red. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caco Moura made a kick off. Uygur Demirer hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. The Globo Red's Rudolf Rus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 58 minute of the game. After having played for 60 minutes, Rudolf Rus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Globo Red's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Rus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Moura. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dominik Webb was slow to take the kick. During this time The Globo Red's players had a chance to rest. The corner led The Globo Red's Dominik Webb to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Moura. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Caco Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Globo Red's Rudolf Rus. If Caco Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Globo Red the free kick. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Will Budden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Moura in the 83rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Dominik Webb got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Camilo Gaos got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomas Illescas. The crowd rose to their feet as The Globo Red's Rudolf Rus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-1 after 96 minutes of play. When the match was over The Globo Red could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
