Hieronim Gdowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the match, Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Hieronim Gdowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Gdowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Gilmar Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hieronim Gdowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's goalkeeper Hieronim Gdowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hieronim Gdowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Hieronim Gdowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Gilmar Couto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 38 played minutes Gilmar Couto rounded Ecuador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Frank Berglund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 45 played minutes, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hieronim Gdowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Couto in the 60th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Gdowski having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W got a freekick which was hit by Sever Corbu. With a little luck, Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Hieronim Gdowski got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilmar Couto took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Andres Ireno was substituted for Gilmar Couto. Gwidon Barys hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
