Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Gilmar Couto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Gilmar Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hieronim Gdowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hieronim Gdowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hieronim Gdowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Rouco in the 24th minute of play forced Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's goalkeeper Hieronim Gdowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hieronim Gdowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hieronim Gdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Alberto Tafalla put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hieronim Gdowski. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hieronim Gdowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! Gilmar Couto scored 2-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mexico booed when Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Rakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilmar Couto to make the kick off. Mexico played a much better game than Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W and deserved their victory. The Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
