After some careless play in the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC defense, Carter George kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Janpier. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Janpier should have stopped the shot. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Harris in the 6th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Eric Hill in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ildefonso Foro. The supporters of Canada booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Justin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canada's Koby Wright got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jan Dixon came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Dixon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rohan Watson in the 26th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Gronow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Todd Gronow might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jax Williamson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Todd Gronow ran back to his position shaking his head. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Gronow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Todd Gronow to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Todd Gronow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 54th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute of the game Rohan Watson made a throw-in which Richard Mccarthy played forward. Todd Gronow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jax Williamson having to make a save. Jax Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Gronow, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Eric Hill threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Mao Yan Yong quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Todd Gronow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 64th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Janpier made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Jan Dixon sent off a good shot on target. If Jan Dixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. In the 71st minute, Todd Gronow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jax Williamson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 74th minute, Todd Gronow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inaki Mirabal in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Mao Yan Yong threw the ball into play from the sideline. Canada's Luka Harris quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Edwards in the 83rd minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Dixon scored 5-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Janpier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariusz Ratulowski in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jax Williamson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Ratulowski in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Edwards came free, but Abelardo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC could leave the field as winners, despite Canada having more of the ball for most of the match.
