A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hugon Piechna to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Konieczny in the 11th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Roch Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Konieczny in the 15th minute of play. Hugon Piechna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 16th minute of the match. Wincenty Zagrobelny kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Roch Konieczny notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd match minute, NieETIkalni Lebork was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Jaszyna to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Konieczny in the 32nd minute of play. NieETIkalni Lebork's Artur Kapinos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. NieETIkalni Lebork's Hugon Piechna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save NieETIkalni Lebork from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Konieczny in the 46th minute of play. Dominik Felenak kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. NieETIkalni Lebork's Wladyslaw Zaremba was substituted for Witomir Piekarczyk. In the 48th minute, Dominik Felenak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hieronim Watarz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. In the 56th minute Hieronim Watarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugon Piechna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hieronim Watarz in the 93rd minute. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute, Hieronim Watarz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NieETIkalni Lebork fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing NieETIkalni Lebork to win.
