The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 4th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Joel Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joel Cristofor quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Silvano Casanova kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Damian Bernabel's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Bernabel helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Casanova in the 21st minute of the match. Joel Cristofor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 26th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Cristofor was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by NECKER49's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joel Cristofor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tiburcio Argina hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Björn-Torben Kappel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Axel Montenegro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In the 72nd minute, Abram Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NECKER49 made a substitution. Isidoro Fagondo replaced Silvano Casanova. Isidoro Fagondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NECKER49's Leandro Haritzeder was substituted for John Skytt. After 78 minutes, Isidoro Fagondo made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Isidoro Fagondo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Manzanares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, NECKER49's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leandro Haritzeder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
