The supporters of Honduras booed when Grindelwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Espinar made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Grindelwald's Bonifacio Senon managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute of play forced Grindelwald's goalkeeper Bonifacio Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Selatse was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Grindelwald's protests and gave Benicio Araoz a yellow card for diving instead. Benicio Araoz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Selatse in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Efrain Joey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Paublo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Padro charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Padro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Grindelwald's Benicio Araoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grindelwald.
