Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to FC ARK CS getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Sammy Corcoran hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play forced FC ARK CS's goalkeeper Nicolas Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Joey having to interfere. Nicolas Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 24th minute of play. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Joey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Edgar Lang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Edgar Lang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC ARK CS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Cristian Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match, Júlio Severo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Joey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 minutes, Bryan White mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ARK CS and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Lang made a kick off. After 54 played minutes FC ARK CS got a freekick which was hit by Bryan White. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Nicolas Joey made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolas Joey quite easily take care of the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Joey. Nicolas Joey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nicolas Joey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 94th minute, FC ARK CS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
