The Discípulos de Ayn Rand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Manteca should have stopped the shot. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's attentive Vinicio Revuelta managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Poncio made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. After 14 minutes, Leonardo Poncio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Discípulos de Ayn Rand and the Orihuela Club de Fútbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Discípulos de Ayn Rand got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Poncio. Vladimiro Figueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manos Manteca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimiro Figueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Manos Manteca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Figueira in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Daniel Sbârcea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Lonzo. After 21 minutes Orihuela Club de Fútbol's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gudesteo Abaunza who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Discípulos de Ayn Rand's corner Jerold Abel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Sbârcea quite easily take care of the ball. Arlindo Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Poncio in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Noel Travassos. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Armada in the 39th minute of play forced Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Discípulos de Ayn Rand's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicolás Grau was slow to take the kick. During this time Orihuela Club de Fútbol's players had a chance to rest. After 44 minutes of play, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Vladimiro Figueira made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Manteca was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Carlos Enrique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ambrosio Lonzo made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the game Leonardo Poncio made a throw-in which Octavio Geleberto played forward. 59 minutes into the game, Leonardo Poncio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Vinicio Revuelta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 63rd match minute, Discípulos de Ayn Rand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Sampil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Mihăiţă Florescu was substituted for Júlio Britto. After 77th play minutes Jerold Abel shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Daniel Sbârcea and just under the crossbar into goal. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Johnny Van Havent was substituted for Vladimiro Figueira. After 83 played minutes Orihuela Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Litago. In the 84th minute Denis Abello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sbârcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Discípulos de Ayn Rand fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Ambrosio Lonzo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Enrique kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Ambrosio Lonzo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Manos Manteca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Van Havent in the 94th minute of the match. A collision led to Discípulos de Ayn Rand getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nicodemo Abeita hit a great ball. When Nicolás Grau came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Orihuela Club de Fútbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolás Grau couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Orihuela Club de Fútbol had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
