Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Baldomero Gonzo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Grindelwald fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Gonzo couldn't finish the play. Bonifacio Senon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Araoz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Grindelwald's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Baldomero Gonzo charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Gonzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Grindelwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Gonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Araoz got free with Benito Sanz in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baldomero Gonzo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 28th minute of play forced Grindelwald's goalkeeper Bonifacio Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Grindelwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Senon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 33rd minute of play. Baldomero Gonzo had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Senon having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Iker Benat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Alcocer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Senon having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Selatse to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Humberto Selatse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Humberto Selatse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Mouricio's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Mouricio helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Selatse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Eliseo Noboa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Grindelwald made a substitution. Enzo Paublo replaced Humberto Selatse. In the 71st minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. After a rather tough play, Grindelwald's Batuhan Bekiroğlu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Gonzo in the 88th minute of play. Enzo Paublo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Senon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. When Grindelwald's Enzo Paublo in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grindelwald fully deserved thier win.
