When Baldomero Gonzo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Grindelwald's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Honduras's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
