Abi Russo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Abi Russo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aysouraguán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abi Russo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Aysouraguán booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Aysouraguán's Rufino Castelao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aysouraguán were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abi Russo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Abi Russo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Hugo Ferrant made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aysouraguán's Jesús Casado. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Aysouraguán's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
