Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Lindström in the 2nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FTU's Michael Apelkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FTU from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes FTU got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Simão. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the game, FTU's Christoffer Lindström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Svanström in the 23rd minute of play. FTU's Stefan Asklund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard shot 26 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Michael Apelkvist managed to make a qualified save. FTU's players were relieved. Michael Apelkvist was a little too slow when Francisco Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Svanström in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, FTU's Christoffer Lindström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Christoffer Lindström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FTU's Gösta Kruse got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FTU booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. FTU's Michael Apelkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FTU from getting a goal against them. If Camilo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Apelkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Christian Svanström made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Apelkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 57th minute of play forced FTU's goalkeeper Michael Apelkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Apelkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The supporters of Uruguay booed when FTU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Svanström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaime Cazalla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michael Apelkvist. FTU's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Christoffer Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Apelkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Michael Apelkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind FTU's goalkeeper Michael Apelkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the game Olov Örtlund made a throw-in which Gösta Kruse played forward. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Uruguay had won after a very even match.
