Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Christian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Xavies Monterrey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Dameda in the 11th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Moises Tafalla suffered a sore thigh after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 13 minutes, Daniel Marjanovic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NCA Defensor Mercenario and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honduras's Xavier Costa was substituted for Moises Tafalla. Daniel Marjanovic hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of NCA Defensor Mercenario booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Xavies Monterrey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. 29 minutes into the game, Todor Hostar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dacio Basabe kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Rik Caldueño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavies Monterrey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes, Dacio Basabe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NCA Defensor Mercenario and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to NCA Defensor Mercenario getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dacio Basabe hit a great ball. NCA Defensor Mercenario's Xavies Monterrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 61st minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Guido Dameda sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Navarro during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, NCA Defensor Mercenario's Alberto Larrimbe tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 71stth minute of the game Dalimil Mrkva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Meshack Cassim came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavies Monterrey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Espinar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Larrimbe in the 83rd minute of the match. Dalimil Mrkva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Baumar Almonte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Meshack Cassim kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Marjanovic in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. When the final whistle went the supporters of NCA Defensor Mercenario were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Honduras side.
