Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Peru booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Gronow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Gronow, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Todd Gronow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Julian Murillo in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abelardo Janpier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mao Yan Yong, made in the 19th minute of the game. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ildefonso Foro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Martin Justin got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Luz Tejedor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Janpier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Janpier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier managed to reach the ball for a save. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Todd Gronow in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Gronow went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the game, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Abelardo Janpier made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Todd Gronow to make the kick off. Todd Gronow took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inaki Mirabal during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inaki Mirabal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Alonso Berganza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 58th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 68th minute of play. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Gerardo Etxepare was substituted for Fabio Manuelo. Andreas Harlén made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Abelardo Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Todd Gronow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Prats came free, but Abelardo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Mariusz Ratulowski was substituted for Todd Gronow. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Alonso Berganza in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Mao Yan Yong. Antonio Tenorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Abelardo Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Mariusz Ratulowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Mariusz Ratulowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Mariusz Ratulowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
