The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Lehen Guardamino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Lehen Guardamino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Porfiro Revilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Porfiro Revilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pulpo1971 FC's Katia Lallera got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porfiro Revilla in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porfiro Revilla in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pulpo1971 FC's Teofilo Valentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lehen Guardamino got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Katia Lallera took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a Pulpo1971 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The supporters of Venezuela booed when Pulpo1971 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignatius Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Valentin made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Porfiro Revilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pulpo1971 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Porfiro Revilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oswaldo Ares kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Pulpo1971 FC made a substitution. Mane Alcubilla replaced Lehen Guardamino. Pulpo1971 FC's Grabiel Arcelay was substituted for Katia Lallera. 86 minutes into the game, Pulpo1971 FC's Mane Alcubilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Pulpo1971 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mane Alcubilla in the 93rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mane Alcubilla went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Pulpo1971 FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
