In the 16thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aysouraguán's Baldemer Sevilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Aysouraguán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Esteban Carvallo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 19 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldemer Sevilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldemer Sevilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baldemer Sevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Eloy Idiaquez made the kick off in the second half. Baldemer Sevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 53rd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldemer Sevilla having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Mikel Cabrera in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Esteban Carvallo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldemer Sevilla having to make a save. In the 96thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aysouraguán's Baldemer Sevilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
