In the 19thth minute of the game Alex Burgos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Lindblom in the 25th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Alex Burgos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
