The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, NECKER49's Björn-Torben Kappel got a free kick in the 5th minute. Santino Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. John Skytt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Cristofor having to make a save. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Joel Cristofor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. NECKER49's Joel Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Joel Cristofor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Totakoxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Cristofor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Cristofor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. From a short distance, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento, in the 61st minute, tried to place the ball behind Joel Cristofor, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Colombia's Luis Cazalla got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Cristofor was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind NECKER49's goalkeeper Joel Cristofor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kevin Mastache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but NECKER49's Joel Cristofor did a great save. In the 76th minute, Tiburcio Argina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Argina hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a little luck, NECKER49's Joel Cristofor got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abram Secada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Mastache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Cristofor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abram Secada's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joel Cristofor firmly grabbed it by the left post. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Joel Cristofor in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Haritzeder in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Benigno Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basilio Hegoi was slow to take the kick. During this time NECKER49's players had a chance to rest. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
