A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Su Peroalfonso. Los Chamos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Thiago Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Thiago Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Los Chamos FC's Su Peroalfonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Los Chamos FC from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Su Peroalfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paio Solbeida lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Paio Solbeida kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Chamos FC's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Su Peroalfonso came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Mike Buechel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Modesto Burcena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Su Peroalfonso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Chamos FC's goalkeeper Su Peroalfonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Nascimento in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Nascimento in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Modesto Burcena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, Los Chamos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laffitte Partearroyo to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Nascimento in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Thiago Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
