Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the game, Vilgot Sandberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulf Olofsson in the 15th minute. Ernst Asmundsson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Blixt saved KD Stiger from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Benjamin Stark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KD Stiger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Benjamin Blixt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Stark was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Stark didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Benjamin Blixt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, KD Stiger's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vilgot Sandberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vilgot Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Blixt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 41st minute of the match. After 46 played minutes KD Stiger got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Asmundsson. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Bo Almqvist hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goalkeeper Benjamin Blixt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Ulf Olofsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulf Olofsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Bo Almqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Vilgot Sandberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Georg Danielsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Tomas Illescas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Georg Danielsson's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Sandberg in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Joshua Secada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the KD Stiger players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Ulf Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamin Blixt. That made the score 1-1 in the 86 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Benjamin Blixt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Venezuela eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
