Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Kun Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Themis Papadimoulis scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. In the 13th minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Zsolt Székely ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of VfL Bad Nenndorf booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Themis Papadimoulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Themis Papadimoulis came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VfL Bad Nenndorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zsolt Székely in the 24th minute. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Zsolt Székely was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Štriker in the 27th minute of play. Themis Papadimoulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Róbert Štriker managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbert Štriker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Róbert Štriker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The corner led VfL Bad Nenndorf's Róbert Štriker to a score. 5-0 in the 55th minute. If Lv Kun Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Themis Papadimoulis put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Zsolt Székely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Zsolt Székely got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Themis Papadimoulis notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lv Kun Liang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lv Kun Liang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Themis Papadimoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 94 played minutes, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Zsolt Székely shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VfL Bad Nenndorf reached it. VfL Bad Nenndorf walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
