Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 87th minute of play. Żuki Gnojarze's Zacarias Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peru had played much better football throughout.
