After having played for 16 minutes, Lando Maeda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.M.O PAITA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lando Maeda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Quirino having to interfere. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lando Maeda in the 26th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. S.M.O PAITA's Yuri Quirino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yuri Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 39th minute of the match. Bernal Manglano got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jerrold Camison. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Lando Maeda took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. S.M.O PAITA were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rico Alfebra took the corner. A collision led to S.M.O PAITA getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bernal Manglano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, S.M.O PAITA's Cordaryal Quadros got a free kick in the 64th minute. S.M.O PAITA's Yuri Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save S.M.O PAITA from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of S.M.O PAITA booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lando Maeda in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Quirino saved S.M.O PAITA from getting behind.
