Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Allan Shearer made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Octav Albescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Octav Albescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Minerul Baita -MM- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Octav Albescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Minerul Baita -MM-! Nistor Maghiar had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nistor Maghiar was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 14th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 16 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Nistor Maghiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nistor Maghiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Shearer in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Nistor Maghiar. Minerul Baita -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Maghiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Nistor Maghiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Shearer in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 46thth minute of the game Allan Shearer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Ciprian Alexe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute Allan Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Nistor Maghiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 66th minute Ciprian Alexe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Miner to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Gordon Miner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Nistor Maghiar in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ionuț Vasiliu's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionuț Vasiliu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Vasiliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cédric Payen in the 80th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Qiu Wei Ting got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiu Wei Ting, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cédric Payen in the 95th minute of play. After 97 minutes, Antonio Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Minerul Baita -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. After 98 played minutes, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Qiu Wei Ting shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minerul Baita -MM- reached it. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Minerul Baita -MM- throughout the match.
