Jaime Pardo in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emre Kurtuluş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 74 minutes into the game, Primitivo Escribano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emre Kurtuluş. Primitivo Escribano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edson Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KARŞIYAKA's Emre Kurtuluş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save KARŞIYAKA from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Onur Övünç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. Jaime Pardo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the match was over Paraguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KARŞIYAKA throughout the match.
