Jens Huybreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of the match. Joaquin Prats made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that BAŞBUĞ's Jens Huybreghts managed to reach the ball for a save. Sait Nursal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Sait Nursal came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The BAŞBUĞ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

In the 59th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Huybreghts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Huybreghts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BAŞBUĞ made a substitution. Enis Behiç Nizami replaced Sait Nursal. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Enis Behiç Nizami came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Hüseyin Can Orak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes BAŞBUĞ got a freekick which was hit by Bartosz Lange. 92 minutes into the match, BAŞBUĞ's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Jens Huybreghts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Götz Ferdi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BAŞBUĞ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. A collision led to BAŞBUĞ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Götz Ferdi hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the game, BAŞBUĞ's Enis Behiç Nizami nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The BAŞBUĞ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
