The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Andersson in the 3rd minute of play. Pär Odén in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kristian Törnqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 12th match minute, Idrottsklubben -03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. Abram Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kristian Törnqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Idrottsklubben -03's Pär Odén fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 19 minutes into the match, Pär Odén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pär Odén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Stefan Andersson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 26th minute, Fred Salkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Idrottsklubben -03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 29th minute of play forced Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Salkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Törnqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Törnqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pär Odén in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Andersson to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Törnqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Törnqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 56th minute of play forced Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Santino Seco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kristian Törnqvist, 3-2. 64 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Kristian Törnqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timmy Pihlwall's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timmy Pihlwall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Timmy Pihlwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Idrottsklubben -03's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Kristian Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Törnqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 73rd minute. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 74th minute. Colombia's Kevin Mastache was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kristian Törnqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Colombia booed when Idrottsklubben -03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Pihlwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Idrottsklubben -03's Lucas Hääger was substituted for Fred Salkvist. In the 77th minute, Timmy Pihlwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abram Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Törnqvist having to interfere. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristian Törnqvist having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Kristian Törnqvist in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 88 played minutes Idrottsklubben -03 got a freekick which was hit by William Enström. The supporters of Idrottsklubben -03 booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Hääger came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
