Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Alex Team's Gică Boerescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Gică Boerescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Alex Team were awarded a corner. Gică Boerescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Alex Team's Dráuzio Recife getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Dráuzio Recife struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alex Team. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iacob Nistor having to make a save. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Alex Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Axel Tasis made a great header on Costa Rica's corner, it was just that Alex Team's Iacob Nistor managed to reach the ball for a save. Gică Boerescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31st play minute Cornel Bodiu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Gică Boerescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Alex Team getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Afriz Cheng hit a great ball. In the 41st minute of the match Gică Boerescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 played minutes, Alex Team's Gică Boerescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alex Team reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dráuzio Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alex Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 67 minutes, Dráuzio Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alex Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77thth minute of the game 김 즙 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 김 즙 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alex Team had played much better football throughout.
