Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 王钢钢. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of 王钢钢. 四川炁's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Sebastian Villa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. After some careless play in the 四川炁 defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 王钢钢. The 四川炁 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 王钢钢 should have stopped the shot. Honduras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
