Jens Huybreghts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sait Nursal in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens Huybreghts was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Alonso Berganza in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BAŞBUĞ's Özdemir Otaç. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Huybreghts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sait Nursal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, İlyas Tolga Kerimhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAŞBUĞ's supporters rose to their feet, but İlyas Tolga Kerimhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Özdemir Otaç, made in the 31st minute of the game. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens Huybreghts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. BAŞBUĞ's attentive Zheng Sang Sheng managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Özdemir Otaç charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özdemir Otaç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes BAŞBUĞ got a freekick which was hit by Özdemir Otaç. Jens Huybreghts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

BAŞBUĞ made a substitution. Hernan Oroitz replaced İlyas Tolga Kerimhan. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sait Nursal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind BAŞBUĞ's goalkeeper Jens Huybreghts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Anthony Alvarado to fire away a dangerous shot which Jens Huybreghts despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 58th minute of play forced BAŞBUĞ's goalkeeper Jens Huybreghts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens Huybreghts was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Özdemir Otaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BAŞBUĞ's Hüseyin Can Orak was substituted for Romain Van Achteren. After 64 played minutes BAŞBUĞ got a freekick which was hit by Özdemir Otaç. BAŞBUĞ's Enis Behiç Nizami was substituted for Sait Nursal. Jens Huybreghts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Hüseyin Can Orak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Jens Huybreghts. BAŞBUĞ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. BAŞBUĞ's Jens Huybreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 81st minute of play. Vedat Baray kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The supporters of Peru booed when BAŞBUĞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vedat Baray didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st match minute, BAŞBUĞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arda Baybars Salik to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, BAŞBUĞ's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Jens Huybreghts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Peru got a corner. BAŞBUĞ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Rafael Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Oroitz in the 97th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute BAŞBUĞ were awarded a corner. Hüseyin Can Orak went to the cornerflag to take it. BAŞBUĞ's Arda Baybars Salik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Peru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BAŞBUĞ for a fine match.
