Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zak Foggarty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Andino's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Luis Andino put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zak Foggarty. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zak Foggarty was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Zak Foggarty came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Zak Foggarty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zak Foggarty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Zak Foggarty. Racing Club Canillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 23 minutes of play, Racing Club Canillo's Tom Clemence made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zak Foggarty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zak Foggarty in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Racing Club Canillo's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Zak Foggarty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zak Foggarty in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 36 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zak Foggarty was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Racing Club Canillo's Zenon Cisek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zenon Cisek in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Zak Foggarty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of the match. Ashley Haigh kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zenon Cisek to make the kick off. Tom Clemence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Racing Club Canillo's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Zak Foggarty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of play forced Racing Club Canillo's goalkeeper Zak Foggarty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Zak Foggarty despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Tom Clemence had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tom Clemence was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Clemence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the match Racing Club Canillo got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Keanu Guest ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Racing Club Canillo booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Keanu Guest shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zenon Cisek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Cisek came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Zak Foggarty made a huge save. After 80 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Cisek in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
