The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zigor Barroso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Zigor Barroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zigor Barroso in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miks Lecis was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Vera in the 73rd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. In the 80thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cometuétano's Miks Lecis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Cometuétano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. When the final whistle sounded Cometuétano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
