Miromir Magdziarz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 63 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miromir Magdziarz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Czarne Mamby's corner Miromir Magdziarz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. The throw-in from Tobiasz Prosowski in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vaino Üürike came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Czarne Mamby got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miromir Magdziarz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Leon Krzynowek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 4-0 became the score in the 78th minute when Miromir Magdziarz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Magdziarz in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Miromir Magdziarz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
