Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rian Giggs kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rian Giggs in the 12th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Correia in the 15th minute of the match. Kevin Mier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Rian Giggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Mier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Firman Urquizu got free with Thiago Pliego in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rian Giggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Sabaneta FC's Kevin Mier got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sabaneta FC's Antonio Masciarelli in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sabaneta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sabaneta FC's Bonifaco Corrillos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Garrido, made in the 76th minute of the game. Antonio Masciarelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Masciarelli came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Mier. Kevin Mier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kevin Mier made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's Antonio Masciarelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Mier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 94th match minute, Sabaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeru Recino to maneuver through the defense. Chile played a much better game than Sabaneta FC and deserved their victory. The Sabaneta FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
