Barbudos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juan Sebastián Puig made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Barbudos FC's Jules Kunde managed to reach the ball for a save. Jules Kunde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikola Jokić during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
