Altza Herria's Federico Bouzas was substituted for 康鸿潮. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Chile's Gerardo Pozo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pipo Pi in the 55 minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio-César van Beek having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, Altza Herria's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Julio-César van Beek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio-César van Beek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio-César van Beek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Christiano Ronaldo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christiano Ronaldo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The Altza Herria supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Altza Herria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
