Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roberto Cherro got the match started through his kick off. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Cherro in the 13th minute of the match. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Bennvar Buffon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Bolsodios's Jonas Raymon got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Bolsodios's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bennvar Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bolsodios getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Stefan Verlinden hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bennvar Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bennvar Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Cherro in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Bolsodios's goalkeeper Bennvar Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 42nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Bolsodios's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Isidoro Ariando hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Cherro. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Roberto Cherro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Bolsodios made a substitution. After a rather tough play, Bolsodios's Stefan Verlinden got a free kick in the 67th minute. Bolsodios's Bennvar Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 69th minute of play. Berto Somiedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Berto Somiedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Bolsodios's Berto Somiedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 0-3 after 83 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Berto Somiedo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. In the 94th minute, Berto Somiedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 0-5. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Bolsodios to win.
