Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. In the 9th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Bucaspor defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nando Muslera. The Bucaspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nando Muslera should have stopped the shot. Nando Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Muslera having to interfere. Bucaspor's Nando Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorie Lievens in the 33rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorie Lievens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Bucaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Nando Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorie Lievens to make the kick off. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nando Muslera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play forced Bucaspor's goalkeeper Nando Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Bucaspor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nando Muslera made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 61st minute, Lambros Digozis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mexico booed when Bucaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ender Torcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Bucaspor got a freekick which was hit by Rahman Altıparmak. In the 72nd minute Gregorie Lievens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Bucaspor's Gregorie Lievens. But to his dismay, Gregorie Lievens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Nando Muslera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 82nd minute of play forced Bucaspor's goalkeeper Nando Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Nando Muslera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bucaspor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Luca Rouco to fire away a dangerous shot which Nando Muslera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bucaspor.
